AAHS Reunion Seeking Local Musical Talent from the Sixties

Hello Everyone!
Al Jacquez, Jeff Jones, Robert “Tigger” Benford, joined by Mark Gougeon (Bass), Mark Tomorsky (Lead Guitar) and Jim King (Keys) will be playing at the Tri-County Sportsmen’s League. We’re rehearsing in A2 July 31-2, learning a bunch of fun songs from our High School Era. If there are any other musicians from the Fugitives, Our Mother’s Children, Dunning Maze and any other HS Bands, or people that currently play, please let us know. [email protected]. I have one of my pals doing PA, so this will be really fun. Tim Koons you’re carrying all the Gear!!!! (Amps are much smaller for this! :):):)) We’ll be rehearsing on site on the 3rd. Tony G you need to DJ this night too! We’ve got you covered for PA!

Reunion Plans Coming Together!
Are you ready? Our 50th Reunion.
Rockin Reunion Weekend – August 3-4, 2018. This one should not be missed. Friday will be packed with entertaining events, beginning with the Golf Outing at Washtenaw Golf Club and for those who would rather not take to the links, you can choose to roam the halls of Pioneer High on a special guided tour. After the high school event is concluded we’re off on buses for a guided tour of the University of Michigan sports facilities. This special event will take you to the Big House and several other areas usually closed to the public. See it all for yourself — up close and personal. But the crowning event for Friday will be a special concert in the makings through the efforts of Jeff Jones. It’s time to dance to the music of our own rock and rollers at the Tri-County Sportmen’s League. This is a special Friday night reunion of members of the Hideaways and several other local groups you may remember (Our Mother’s Children, Dunning Maze and the Fugitives). Who knows who will show up? We have many of the musicians coming from all over. Tigger Benford, Al Jacquez, Jeff Jones, Bob Gougeon, Mark Tomorsky, Dave Morgan. Let’s dance to the beat of Mustang Sally, Midnight Hour and lots of other favorites. Friday night will be a jam session to remember — and when the band isn’t playing I would guess that Tony G can help us out.
And that will kick off our Rockin Reunion!
Saturday August 4 we will gather to meet and greet and reminisce at the Polo Fields East for a wonderful dinner and music provided by Tony Grammatico. Be ready to put your dancing shoes on there too!
The high school tour is free. The UM Sports tour has a fee of $25 per person. The Friday night social is free (cash bar and food for purchase). The Saturday dinner is $65 per person. Mark the date.
